Åsmarka Church

Åsmarka Church is a wooden church from 1859, designed by the architect J.W. Nordan. However, the church was given a new porch and new windows and doors in 1960. The church is clad with exterior and interior panels. The interior is characterized by alterations made in 1960-61, but the altarpiece and baptismal font date from 1901.

Brøttum kirke

The church in Brøttum is a cruciform church dating from 1790. The church has a tower in the middle of the cross and was panelled and painted on the outside in 1841. The church hall is characterised by several restorations. In 1885-88 the church received new pews and in 1952 new windows and doors and the walls were tilted.

Fiskerkapellet

On the Maihaugen is the only preserved medieval log house in Norway, called Fiskerkapellet (Fishing chapel). According to an inscription on one of the logs, the chapel was consecrated and founded in 1459. After the Reformation, the chapel was used as a warehouse for the rectory in Fåberg before it was bought in 1897 by Anders Sandvig.
