Moe kirke

The present Moe Church is the third church in Svorkmo. A church for the factory workers was built on Skankebakken in 1675 and was destroyed by a flood in 1816. In the same year, an octagonal wooden church was built on Smedhaugen, about one kilometre further north. This church was demolished in 1866 and a new church was built on Moe. The church on Moe was designed by Ole Fredriksen Rømmesmo and Børre Thorstensen Wulvig, built in 1866-67 and consecrated on 28 December 1867.

Løkken kirke

Løkken Church is a long church from 1929. The church was originally a shooting range designed by the architect Morten Bachke and built in 1916. When a temporary chapel used since 1913 became too small, it was decided to convert the shooting range into a church. The architect Roar Tønseth was commissioned to rebuild, and the new church was consecrated on 13 September 1929.

Orkdal Church

The Orkdal church is a cross church dating from 1893. It is the third church in this town, where churches have been built since the Middle Ages. The first church was made of wood, the second and third of soapstone. The church was designed by Carl Julius Bergstrøm and built by the builder Hans Kunig.

Skaun Church

Skaun Church is a medieval stone church with a rectangular nave and lower choir and narrower at the right end. The south and west portals of the nave are richly designed and bear stone carving marks similar to those found on the octagon of the Nidaros Cathedral. The church was restored in 1930 according to Erling Gjone's plans. In the nave, frescoes were discovered on the wall of the choir.
