The Cathedral of Mary Queen of Heaven and Mother Church is the Catholic Cathedral of Mostar.
It was built from 1974 to 1980 on the site of an old cathedral dating from 1872. The cathedral was built in the postmodern style, a style that has prevailed in the architecture of churches in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the second half of the 20th century. Concrete, metal, glass and, in part, stone were used for the construction.
The Hadži Memija Cernica Mosque, is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque in Mostar. It was named after its founder, Hadži Memija Cernica, who was a leather merchant.
The Hadzi-Kurt Mosque was built between the 16th and 17th centuries on the right bank of the Neretva River.
The Karađoz Bey Mosque was built between 1557 and 1558 according to the plans of the famous Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan. It suffered serious damage during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but was rebuilt and reopened in 2004.
