First mention of the church in the 11th century, work was undertaken in the 14th century following the war. In the 10th century, the nave is again undergoing work. Finally, in the XVIIth century, the facade is reworked but keeps its flamboyant gothic style.
The church has a Latin cross plan with a false transept. The apse is flat. Several chapels flank the building.
The present chapel building is the result of successive campaigns of work and restoration: built from the Romanesque period, it has been shaped over the centuries. The construction of the chapel dates back to the 12th century. The porch is from the 15th century. For example, bays were opened or enlarged in the 17th century, the bell tower was rebuilt between 1772 and 1774, as was the sacristy. In 1999, donations were granted for structural work (masonry, roofing and carpentry).
The church was mainly built between the 13th and 14th centuries. Its porch dates from the 17th century. The western gable wall is flanked by an open porch. The latter, as well as the gable wall have exposed beams. Under the porch is visible a vaulted portal. On the wall above the porch there is a bay window. The roof of the nave and the choir are covered with a gable roof. The bell tower is built as a turned-up gutter.
The church was built in the 12th and 15th centuries, the choir is Romanesque. The bell tower dates from 1534. The stone baptismal font is from the 17th century. The remarkable bell tower is a polygonal tower which rises on three levels and surmounted by a dome. The main façade is a flat gable wall pierced by a large rose window on the upper level. Inside, the nave has three bays framed by four buttresses and three-pointed arch bays with infills on the south side of the building. The choir has two bays, with two elongated round-arched bays and a round-arched door also on the westernmost bay. The chevet-apse chapel is pierced with three fine round-arched bays topped by a rose window.
