Church of Our Lady of the Scapular, Witów
The Church of Our Lady of the Scapular is a 20th-century wooden Catholic church in the Małopolska province of Poland.
About this building
The church was design by Jan Tarczałowicz, an architect specialising in the Zakopane style characteristic of Poland's highland regions. It was built between 1910 and 1912. Another Zakopane artist, Michał Gąsienica-Szostak, was in charge of the interior decoration of the church. The neo-Gothic high altar from 1937 is particularly noteworthy.
