Church of St. Marcin Bishop, Mogilno

Parish Church of St. Martin in Mogilno was erected in 1765, probably using elements of a pre-existing temple, burnt down in the second half of the 17th century.

About this building

Inside the building, we can admire Baroque carpentry details, i.e. portals with wavy lintels, a musical choir parapet, as well as a Gothic crucifix from around 1400. The polychrome with figural and ornamental motifs from 1930 is the work of T. Terlecki. The late-Gothic sculpture of the Resurrected Christ is dated to the beginning of the 19th century. the 16th century, and the stone Renaissance baptismal font for the half of the 16th century. The church has preserved the 17th-century tombstones of the Rożnów family
