About this building
The building of a Gothic character was erected in a log structure. The ornamental and figural polychrome from 1929–32 is the work of Józef Dutkiewicz. On the walls of the southern porch you can see the remains of patron paintings from the 16th century and fragments of polychrome from 1795 in the folk baroque style.
The most valuable piece of equipment is the Gothic sculpture of the Virgin Mary with the Child from around 1420, located in the right side altar. The famous Madonna, currently stored in the National Museum in Krakow, comes from the nearby Krużlowa Wyżna. A copy of the sculpture is on display in the local church.
