Hadži Memija Cernica Mosque, Mostar
The Hadži Memija Cernica Mosque, is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque in Mostar. It was named after its founder, Hadži Memija Cernica, who was a leather merchant.
About this building
The building was damaged during the Bosnian War (1992-1995) and rebuilt in the second half of the 1990s. The mosque houses the oldest sundial in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
