The Convent of the Trinity (Convento da Trindade) was a monastery completed in 1606. The complex was destroyed during the earthquake of 1755. It was transformed into a military hospital in the 19th century. In the 20th century, the monastery was abandoned and is now in ruins.
St Anthony's Church (Igreja de Santo António) is an 18th-century church built in the Baroque style and with an interior decorated with tiles.
Constructed in the early 16th century as the 'Church of Mercy', this church was later designated as the parish church following the devastating earthquake of 1755.
The Church of Our Lady of Carmo is a 16th-century building in Lagos, in the region of Algarve. It is also known as Igreja das Freiras (Nun's Church).
