Skaun Church
Skaun Church is a medieval stone church with a rectangular nave and lower choir and narrower at the right end. The south and west portals of the nave are richly designed and bear stone carving marks similar to those found on the octagon of the Nidaros Cathedral. The church was restored in 1930 according to Erling Gjone's plans. In the nave, frescoes were discovered on the wall of the choir.
