Hov Church

The Hov church is a neo-gothic building completed in 1887. The previous church on the site was knocked down in 1885 by a strong gust of wind, and the new church of 1887, including its tower, was built relatively low due to the particular wind conditions in Sunndalsøra.

The baroque altarpiece from 1725 originally stood in Kristiansund church and is made by Peder Knutsen from Fræna.
