Tveit Church

The Tveit church is a medieval stone church built according to a long plan around the year 1150. It is possible that there was a Stave church on the site before the stone building was constructed. The Romanesque stone church originally had a rectangular shape. The sandstone baptismal font dates from 1250-1350 and the figure of the Virgin is thought to have been made in the 13th century. The Baroque altarpiece is dated to around 1650.

Vestre Moland kirke

The church of Vestre Moland is a brick building that was built in 1150. Gradually the medieval church was extended, first with a small choir section. The sacristy was started in 1742. In 1797, the church was extended with a nave to become a cruciform church, as we see it today.

Lillesand Church

The Lillesand church is located above the town. It was consecrated in 1887. It is a large, long and characteristic church with a tower that juts slightly into the west gable. The church is built in half-timbered panelling in the neo-Gothic and Swiss-style according to drawings by H. Thrap-Meyer. The builders were Ludvig Karlsen and his father Carl D. Svendsen. The church in Lillesand is very well preserved inside and out and has furniture from the time of its construction.
