Västergarn Church

Västergarn Church is one of the 92 medieval churches on the island of Gotland.

About this building

Västergarn Church was planned as a gothic church, but in the end only the chancel was built. The present church is therefore made of what was to be a part of the planned church.

Among the items of the church, there is a baptismal font from the 15th century and a votive ship from 1637. The furnishing, mostly from the 17th century are also noteworthy.
