The ruins of St Catherine belong to an old Dominican monastery founded by the Bishop of Veszprém in 1240.
The monastery was built not far from to the Sed River that crosses Veszprém, at the foot of the castle hill. After the arrival of the Turks and beginning of the Ottoman rule, the church and monastery building were destroyed. The only parts still visible today are the foundations and part of a wall of the church.
The remains of St George rounded chapel are in the Trinity Square of Veszprém, very close to St Michael's Cathedral.
St Ladislaus Church is a 19th-century Neo-Romanesque church built on a hill next to Stephen I of Hungary Viaduct in Veszprém.
The Franciscan church in Veszprem is an 18th-century building standing in Trinity Square of Veszprem, very close to Saint Michael's Cathedral.
