El Tawheed Mosque

El Tawheed is a Mosque founded in 1986, very close to the Kosverlorenvaart canal in Amsterdam.

The mosque carries out a wide range of cultural and educative activities: it has a library and a bookstore, it publishes the monthly magazine El Tawheed, it hosts lectures, it offers Arabic lessons for all levels and tailor-made courses, it has Islam courses, and its also a space for social work.

Westermoskee

The Westermoskee is a Turkish mosque in the West district of Amsterdam . According to the original plan, this mosque would be part of a collaborative project between the then Amsterdam district De Baarsjes , the Turkish-Islamic organization Milli Görüş and housing corporation Het Oosten (now merged into Stadgenoot ). In addition to a mosque, the plan also included the construction of homes and commercial space.
