The North Heggdal Chapel is a single nave church built in 1974. It is shaped like a boathouse. Above the aisle hangs a model of the MS "Havdrott" by Anders Finnøy.

The Fiksdal church is a Gothic "long church" dating from 1866. The wooden building is the work of builder Gjert Lien from Nordfjord. The architect was Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. It was restored in 1966 on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
