The church built in the Middle Ages was destroyed during the siege of Beauvais in 1472. The present building was built at the end of the 15th and 16th century. The bell tower was built in the 18th century.
Chapel built in 1861.
Construction of Beauvais Cathedral began in 1225 and the choir was completed in 1272. A second phase of construction, however, lasted from 1499 to 1532, and saw the elevation of the transept. Although its nave collapsed several times due to its dizzying height, and was never really completed, Beauvais Cathedral has the highest nave in the world.
