The first documentary records of the church date back to 1055. The complex consists of a Romanesque church (although with later modifications) with three naves and three apses, which open into a transept. It also conserves the crypt where the holy relics were kept.
The foundation of Saint Bartholomew's Church, located in Devillac in the Lot-et-Garonne, dates back to the 12th century. The interior is decorated with paintings and beautiful stained glass windows. Its elegant wall-tower, decorated with a round dormer, dates from the 16th century.
Construction began in the 12th century, a period of which little remains. The cathedral was completed in 1700. The Second World War inflicted damage to the building, which lost its stained glass windows during a bombing raid. New stained glass windows were inaugurated in 2000 by the Dutch artist Jan Dibbets and the glassmaker Jean Muret.
The Church of Saint-Vincent, registered with the Historical Monuments, is located in Saint-Vincent-de-Cosse, in the New-Aquitaine region. This 12th century church is a gem of medieval design. The building has a very simple architectural plan that has hardly been altered, so that it still presents a homogeneous appearance. Decorations such as modillions on the chancel cornice, sundials and a burial liter bear witness to the past glory of the church. Among the furniture, there is a large altarpiece dedicated to Saint Vincent.
