Eresfjord Church

The Church of Sira, also known as the Eresfjord Church, is an octagonal church dating from 1869 and built of wood. Until about 1709, a stave church probably stood here, but because of its very poor condition, it was replaced by a new wooden church in the shape of a cross. Throughout the 19th century, this church was too small and in need of repair. In 1868-1869 the octagonal church was erected in its place.

Kleive Church

The present church of Kleive is the third we know of that stands on this site. The church was built in 1857 and consecrated in 1858.
