Ålhus kyrkje

The church in Ålhus is a long wooden church dating from 1795. The church was restored in 1868 when it was planked and whitewashed, and the windows were raised. In 1871 a gallery was built and the interior walls were painted yellow and the roof was repainted. The sacristy was built in 1933. In the period 1947-1951, the church was restored, when, among other things, the yellow paint was removed from the walls. The modern church replaces a medieval Stave church.

Helgheim Church

The church in Helgheim is a long church built in 1877 when the population of the village was growing and a larger church was needed. The existing church was therefore demolished and the present church was built. The builder was Ole Vanberg, who was responsible for many churches in the county and in the same year also built the church of Vik. In 1952 the church was renovated and given lighter colours inside.

Holsen Church

Holsen church is a timber long church from 1861. The church was built according to drawings by architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan.

Haukedalen Church

The Haukedalen Church (formerly the Haukedalen Chapel Church) was inaugurated in 1885. The building was erected by the architect Hartvig Sverdrup Eckhoff on a former 17th century chapel which was demolished during the construction of the new building.
