Saintes, FR
To honour the relics of Saint Eutropius of Saintes (3rd or 4th century), Benedictine monks founded a monastery in the 9th century and built a two-storey church. The church acquired its Gothic bell tower later in the 15th century (1478-1496). The Benedictine monastery being abolished in 1789, the building became a parish church.
Sainte-Gemme, FR
Built in the heart of the Baconnais forest, the monastery seems to have existed since the middle of the 11th century. The place already seemed to have been put under the name of Sainte-Gemme.
Calvi, FR
The church was built following an increase in the population. Construction began in 1774 and was not completed until the 19th century.

Rebuilt after the Hundred Years' War, St. Peter's Cathedral was one of the great flamboyant Gothic monuments in the West. In 1568, when it was not completely finished, its vaults were destroyed by Protestant troops. A massive bell tower and a flamboyant portal characterize the exterior of this church, built for the most part in the 15th century. Inside, Gothic unity and simplicity of a decoration confining to skinning.
Kraków, PL
The Saints Peter and Paul Church is the first Baroque architecture building in Krakow. It was built from 1597 to 1619 for the Jesuits, hence the obvious inspiration from the Gesù church in Rome.

This very old Romanesque church from the 10th or 11th century is a noteworthy building which has been modified over the centuries.
Sakiai, LT
1930 The construction of the seminary of diocesan priests in Vilkaviskis was completed in 1944. Thanks to it, the number of clergy increased considerably. If after the establishment of the diocese there were about 100 priests, then in 1940. their number reached 247.

Şakirin Mosque is a modern building that opened in 2009. It is known for being the first mosque whose interior design was conceived by a woman, Zeynep Fadillioglu.

The Şakirin mosque is one of the most modern in Istanbul, having opened its doors in 2009. The building was designed by Hüsrev Tayla, known for his work on the Kocatepe Mosque. The interior was designed by Zeynep Fadillioğlu, making Şakirin the first mosque partially designed by a woman.
