Neo-Romanesque church without a tower.

The church of Leger des Heils (Salvation Army Church Hall) was completed in 1981. On Saturdays it is also used by the Seventh-day Adventists.

In 1914, the first services were held in Dordrecht as a department of the Reformed Church in Ridderkerk. They met in the Patrimonium building for this purpose. In 1921, they moved into a church building on the Museumstraat . After the vast majority of the congregation had transferred to the Old Reformed Churches, church services were held again around 1931 by the Reformed Church in Dordrecht. They met again in the Patrimonium building. In 1931, the church community moved to a temporary school converted into a church on the Kromhout. On 27 October 1937, the church building on the Kasperpad was put into use with 650 seats.

Built to replace an earlier police station hall on the Spoorgracht.

This Salvation Army complex, including a training centre and a clearly recognisable church hall, was built to replace the previous main building of the Salvation Army office on the Amsterdamseweg in Amstelveen , which was demolished in 2002.

The church is built in the same style as the residential strips: constructed of brick, completely plastered white on a low, anthracite-coloured plinth, on a rectangular base, flat-roofed and provided with lower, cube-shaped extensions.
