Orta Camii

Orta Camii is an 18th century mosque also known as Atik Ibrahim Pasha in the Turkish city of Orta.

About this building

The mosque was built by Atik Ibrahim Pasha as a log mosque in 1770, but was rebuilt in 1802 due to its destruction over time. The mosque has a rectangular plan and a minaret with two serfs. The most beautiful part of the mosque is the mihrab made in the baroque style.

Tokalı Church

The Tokalı church is the most famous of Göreme's excavated churches, one of the largest. The church consists of four rooms and the oldest part of the church dates back to the 10th century. One of the most important features of the church is the presence of 10th-century frescoes in the nave. The church is now part of the Göreme Open Air Museum.
