Church of Saints Severino and Sossio, Naples

The "Chiesa dei Santi Severino e Sossio" is a 16th-century Benedictine church. It belonged to the convent of the same name, which today houses the State Archives of Naples.

About this building

The church was the most important Benedictine church in Naples. It still preserves many original artistic works from the 16th century. Since 1835, the former cloister and monastery buildings around the church have housed the State Archives of Naples.
