The church in Skjønne was designed by Henrik Nissen and built in 1879-80 by the builder Gulbrand Johnsen, who also built the neighbouring church Nore (designed by Jacob Wilhelm Nordan) at the same time. Both churches were inaugurated on the same day, 5 October 1880.

Dutch Reformed Church. Simple single-nave building with roof turret, built in 1752. On the west facade sculpted curls with date. In the church pulpit and a lord's pew from the 18th century and two from the 19th century. Organ made in 1871 by W. Hardorff.

Skodje church dates from 1860 and is built of wood. The architect was F. Meinhardt and the builders were Gjert Lien and Elias Tonning from Nordfjord. The altarpiece on the altar in the church dates from 1883 and is a copy by Adolph Tidemand.

Skoklefall Church, which was built in 1936 to designs by Carl Michaelsen, is a small, simple church with unpanelled wooden walls and low, square eaves over the gable. Farmer Johan Jakobsen provided funds for the construction, and the land was donated by Olav Skoklefald. In 1962 the church was renovated and given a new colour scheme by Terje Grøstad.

The congregation has its background in the revival movement that emerged in Sweden during the second half of the 19th century. Then both a Baptist Church and a Mission Church were formed in Skollersta. The Baptist Church had its activities in Testa Chapel and the Mission Church in Kuvesta Mission House. In the early 1970's, the community between the congregations deepened in various ways. This led to the building of a common church in Skollersta community in 1976, which at that time grew through extensive residential development. The church was named Larslundskyrkan after a previous farm name nearby.

Medieval church that has come to be called urNurke's cathedral "as it is as big as a small cathedral, but built in the countryside. The church was built in the Gothic style during the 13th and 14th centuries. Inside the church there is a beautiful interior - rows of pillars in three ships. The church contains several older objects, such as statues of Mary, baptismal fonts, unique stained glass windows and many medieval fixtures.The pulpit from 1592, is one of the oldest in Nurke.The church's maximum number of visitors is 300.

The Agios Ioannis Kastri church (St. John) is better known as the ‘Mamma Mia!-church’ from the 2008 film. The building can be found on top of a 100 m high cliff that juts out into the ocean at the Northeastern part of the island Skopelos. It is believed that there once stood a castle, protecting the island from pirate attacks. Although only the exterior of the church was used in the Mamma Mia! film, the building has become a popular place for fans.

The Skorovatn Chapel is a wooden church built in the style of a long church in 1965 by the architect Arne Aursand. Since the closure of the local mine in 1984, most of the villagers have left and the chapel is not used regularly. It is also occasionally used for concerts.
