The Søndeled church is a medieval church from the middle of the 12th century. Before 1879 the church was the only church in Søndeled. It was built in stone in the Middle Ages and was transformed into a cross church with a wooden extension around 1785.

The church in Søndre Høland is a cruciform church dating from 1866. The designs for the church were made by Anders Haneborg on the basis of Christian H. Grosch's designs for the church in Båstad. The builders were Gulbrand Johnsen and Andreas Sand. In the cemetery, there is a burial chapel from 1924.

The church of Sør-Fron was built in 1792 by the architect Svend Aspaas. At that time, most Norwegian rural churches were made of wood, but the church in Sør-Fron was built of stone. The church has an octagonal plan, and the roof has a crack that gives the roof profile a slightly rounded shape. Above the main entrance is the monogram of King Christian VII. The church hall is bright, with marbles on the ceiling and inside.

Sørbø church is a stone church from the mid 12th century. From 1308 the church was one of the royal chapels in Haakon V in Norway. Of the 14 royal chapels, only three remain. The church is poorly decorated but has exceptionally fine Romanesque masonry with regular horizontal joints and horizontal stone.

The Søre Ål church is built of concrete and wood according to Bjarne B's drawings. Ellefsen. The church is a long church with a ridge roof to the west. The church has large roof areas with shingles, while the ridge is covered with copper. The concrete parts of the end walls have reliefs in simple lines on the outside and inside of the church.

The church of Søre Elvdal was inaugurated in 1885. Originally the church was used as a school and chapel. The interior was extensively remodelled when a separate school was built around 1920. The interior was then painted in blue tones.
