Sørkedalen church is a long neo-gothic church dating from 1865. Christian H. Grosch was commissioned to prepare plans and drawings for the church and the church was consecrated on 15 September 1865. In the 1930s the interior was modified according to the plans of architect Georg Greve.

Sørli Church is a long church dating from 1873. The building is made of wood and in neo-gothic style and was built by the architect Carl Julius Bergstrøm. The oldest mention of a church here dates from 1548-49.

Sørskogbygda Church is a wooden church built according to the drawings of engineer O. Schønheyder in 1873. The interior of the church bears the mark of the restoration in 1954. The altarpiece is a painting of the Descent from the Cross from 1912 by Gudbrand Sæther.

Sørum Church is a stone long church built in the last half of the 12th century. From the medieval interior, only the Romanesque soapstone baptismal font is preserved. It is assumed that the altarpiece and the ceiling above the baptismal font were carved and painted in 1733. The pulpit from 1600 is polygonal with a large curved bottom built at the same time as the wall panel. In the cemetery to the south of the pulpit there is a tombstone dating from the Middle Ages.

Our church, 'Het Anker', has been a cooperative community of the NGK (Dutch Reformed Church) and the CGK (Christian Reformed Church) since the 1970s. Since 2017, we have had a cooperative relationship with the Reformed Church (Liberated) 'Lichtbron' here in Lelystad. The afternoon services and special services are now held alternately in one of the two churches. On May 12, 2023, the national associations of NGK and GKv merged into the Dutch Reformed Church, so that both the Lichtbron and Het Anker are now part of the NeGK.
