Torød Church is a long church from 1915, designed by the architect Ludvig Karlsen. After several years of disrepair, the church was restored in 1975 according to the plans of Elisabet Fidjestøl. It was then fitted with stained glass windows by Hans L. Rasmussen.

Lande Chapel dates back to 1734 in. The chapel was originally built as Solstad church in Bindal, but it was moved across the fjord to Lande in 1888.

Totenviken Church is a long church with a tower on the west side, built in brick in 1896. The church was extended with a new choir and a new sacristy in 1923. At the same time, the upper part of the tower was bricked up and given a new pyramid-shaped crown. The wall, which was originally made of unpolished red bricks, was plastered and painted.

Totland Church, formerly the Totland Chapel, is a long wooden church built in 1912. The architects of the building were Lars Sølvberg and Jens Sølvberg. From its construction until 1953 the place of worship had the status of a chapel.

The cathedral was probably built on the site of a Roman temple, probably destroyed during the passage of the Huns, and in 1221, by Bishop Eudes II of Sorcy (1219-1228), the construction of the building that we can contemplate was spread over three centuries to finish in 1561, the Romanesque cathedral being gradually destroyed to give way to the Gothic elevation. The construction site's shell begins with the choir, flanked by two so-called "harmonic" bedside towers, an adaptation of the standard plan of the Gothic church with the Romanesque tradition of the old building (as in the Verdun Cathedral). The choir was completed in 1235. The construction of the transept and the last five bays of the nave lasted from 1331 to 1400, in parallel with the gradual destruction of the Romanesque nave. The cloister was then built by Pierre Perrat (died in 1400) as well as the western portal. Between 1400 and 1460, work was interrupted because of the war between the Duke of Burgundy and the Duke of Lorraine.

Built in the 11th century, it became a mosque in the 16th century. It then underwent numerous alterations.

The origins of the Toulouse Cathedral are difficult to trace. The ruined building was rebuilt in 1071 and is composed of different architectural styles, from Romanesque to Southern Gothic. The building is classified as a historical monument since 1862.

Notre-Dame Cathedral, founded in the 12th century, is a masterpiece of Scaldian Gothic, a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles. It was in the 5th century that the first cathedral was built under the aegis of Saint Eleutheran, one of the first bishops of the city. From the 9th to the 11th century, a new sanctuary was built. At the beginning of the 12th century, the development of the cult of Our Lady, the prosperity of the city and perhaps the desire to hasten the separation of the dioceses of Tournai and Noyon, led to the construction of the present cathedral, the third. Since 2000, the cathedral has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The first construction was initiated in 340 by Saint Lidoire, the second Bishop of Tours. In 561, the church was destroyed by fire. Gregoire de Tours had it rebuilt from 570 onwards. In the 12th century, Bishop Hildebert de Lavardin (1125-1134) undertook the reconstruction. The operation was completed around 1150 but a fire damaged it heavily in 1167. A new reconstruction project was launched, but it was not until 1547 that the church was completely completed.

The church in Tovdal is a long church that was built in 1820, but it was not consecrated until 1827. The church has changed colour several times: in 1837 it was painted red, in 1854 white, in 1932 red and in 1964 again white. In 1930-32 there was a major renovation according to the plans of Wilhelm Swensen.
