Munnekezijl, NL
Interesting hall church with tower, built in 1913 by L. Reitsma according to a model that was common in the Northern Netherlands in those years. Characteristic is the combination of painted wainscoting in the interior with stained glass windows, wooden ceilings, plastered walls and brick details. From the outside, this type of church, also in Munnekezijl, has a robust brick appearance, usually with a tower rising from the facade. Organ from 1920 by the Gebr. Rohlfing (Osnabrück). This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

Replaced the Reformed Church from 1893. Rectangular hall church, built in 1962-1963 by the architect Minderhoud. On the roof an open bell tower crowned by a fish. In 1989 extended with service rooms. Organ by A. Hunter from 1878, originating from Ipswich and placed in this church in 1987.

The foundation stone was laid on 25 April 1953. In August 1972 it was decided to expand the church. The church hall was enlarged and in addition a large hall with a kitchen, a hall, a cloakroom and a toilet group was built. In 1973 the extension was put into use.
