Originally built as Dutch Reformed Laak Chapel. Name changed to Andreas Church during internal modernisation in 1966. Since 2000 called Laak Chapel again, when the Reformed Church joined the Dutch Reformed local church community in the context of "Samen op Weg", after the Reformed Laak Church on Isingstraat was decommissioned. Later a church of the PKN. Out of use as a church 25 November 2012, on that day a farewell service was held. Some religious objects were transferred to the diaconal centre "De Oase" on Van Meursstraat in the Spoorwijk. The Laak Chapel was taken over by the El Mouahidin Foundation and converted into a mosque.

In Teuge, the Christian Reformed Church was abolished. Institution took place in 1836. Between 1836 and 1851, church services were held in Het Hoge Vonder, the farm of G. Groothedde. This farm no longer exists. On 2 June 1851, construction of a real church of its own began. It was put into use in December 1851. Like several other municipalities in our country, Teuge did not join the Association in 1892. It remained Christian Reformed. The last church service was held on 25 April 1968, after which the municipality was dissolved. All possessions were sold.
