Saint Catherine's Church was built between 1525 and 1550 by the Counts of Hoogstraten. With its 105 metres-high tower, Saint Catherine's Church is the third tallest church in Belgium, after the Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp and the Church of Our Lady in Brugges.

The medieval tower has been preserved under the current tower, which was built with the church in 1860 in neo-Gothic style by architect Theo Molkenboer.

Sint-Laurentiuskerk is a church built between 1932 and 1941 according to a J. Huygh project of Art Deco style inspired by the Byzantine style.

Saint Martin's church and cemetery can be found in Wilsele, valuable historical riches in the shadow of Leuven.

The original Romanesque church was converted into its present Gothic building in the 16th and 17th centuries. In the 19th century, the building was once again enlarged. Apart from its valuable furniture, the church houses an important collection of paintings, including ‘Sint-Marten His Cloak Sharing’ by Baroque Flemish painter Antoon van Dyck. The tower and roof line can be visited in small groups by appointment.

Despite the blessing of the Bishop of Myra, this 13th century church has suffered badly from adverse weather conditions. The wall work, especially the western façade, has had a lot to endure, and needed restoration in 1843.

Sint-Pieterskerk is one of the best examples of Maasland Romanesque style. It was probably built in the early 11th century. The cemetery wall and death house are much more recent, built in 1910. The pipe organ was built by Lambert Corneille of Peteghem (Ghent) between 1829 and 1831.

The brick neo-Gothic St. Peter's Church from 1878-1880 is a design by architect Charles Demaeght.

An idyllic place with international history.

The church was built in the 12th century, although some sources refer to this church at the end of 10th or the beginning of 11th century. The church was renovated in the 15th century. In this century the current tower was erected. In 2017 a plan was approved for an integral restoration of the church, which was falling into disrepair.
