Interesting reconstruction church. Around 1910, the Reformed in Papendrecht were dependent on the surrounding areas. In 1913, the first church, which was then located on the Veerweg, was put into use, after which independence followed in 1919. The church community had to deal with war, internal strife and the flood disaster, among other things.

Built as Dutch Reformed Church. Architecturally interesting modern central building with roof turret. In 2006 the fiftieth anniversary of this church building was celebrated. Last celebration 31-08-2008; the local PKN congregation continued in the nearby (new) Reformed Credo Church . The church has been in use by the World Mission Society Church of God since 2010.

After the previous church building had become too small, a new church building was put into use on 15 September 1953 on the Doormanstraat with 500 seats. In 1991, two new meeting rooms were built. The church building was also given a name. The Moriakerk was renovated in early 2006 and put back into use on Sunday 19 February 2006.

The building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Brahmslaan 2 was renovated in the spring of 2005. The church hall was enlarged, new side rooms and an elevator were built. After an open day on May 28, 2005, the church was put back into use.
