The convent and the baroque church of Santa Maria al Monte (entrusted to the Capuchin friars) is located on the Monte dei Cappuccini. The Baroque building dates from the late 16th century.

Montefiascone Cathedral was built when Pope Urban V instituted the Diocese of Montefiascone (14th century). The construction of the dome took place from 1670 following a terrible fire on the night of Good Friday which destroyed the roof of the cathedral and part of its interior. The dome, with a diameter of 27 metres, is one of the largest in Italy.

The Montefiore Synagogue in Ramsgate was built in 1831-32 by architect David Mocatta. The building was restored in 1912 and 1933. This brick building in the Neo-Classical style still serves as a synagogue.

The Cathedral of Montepulciano was built between 1586 and 1680 by the architect Ippolito Scalza d'Orvieto; the building was erected on the site of the ancient parish church of Santa Maria. The church was solemnly consecrated on 19 June 1712 by Francesco Maria Arrighi, Bishop of Montepulciano.

The Montier-en-Der church was once part of a Benedictine abbey, founded in the 7th century, closed during the French Revolution. The pre-Romanesque nave is among the oldest in France, and the choir is one of the rare examples of Gothic architecture in Champagne.

St. Peter's Cathedral was originally the chapel of the Monastery-College of St. Benedict St. Germain, founded in 1364 by Pope Urban V. This church was erected as a cathedral in 1536, when the episcopal seat was transferred from Maguelone to Montpellier.

Monzón Cathedral was built between the end of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th century on the site of an earlier church, consecrated in 1098. During the 17th century, the church underwent a series of modifications, losing the Romanesque cloister and seeing the construction of the crypt and bell tower in the current Baroque and Mudejar styles. In 1904, the tower was renovated and equipped with a new clock.

Parts of the church in Mora originate from the old stone church of the late 13th or early 14th century. The main design of the church took place in the 1480s when the church was rebuilt as a three-aisled church under new Gothic star vaults in the nave and cross vaults in the side aisles. The sacristy was extended to the north in the 1720s to double its size. During the restoration, this gap was replaced by a gallery barrier. During the restoration of 1964-1965 by David Dahl, the building council, extensive strengthening work was carried out, including on the arches.

The Morača Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery founded in 1252. With the Monasteries of Piva and Ostrog, the Morača Monastery is one of the most popular cultural and religious sites in Montenegro.
