The Church Nossa Senhora da Luz de Lagos (Igreja Matriz da Luz de Lagos) is a late-Gothic Church
The interior is notable for the ribbed vault of the presbytery and the pointed triumphal arch, with three archivolts and capitals decorated with animal and human figures surrounded by foliage. The Baroque altarpiece is an exceptional artwork from the beginning of the 18th century.
The church of Luz de Lagos was mainly built in 1874, the church tower was built later by the local resident, who also bought the tower clock. The church is located in a picturesque place, which makes it a tourist attraction.
The Ermita de São João Baptista (Ermida de São João Baptista) is a chapel of medieval origin and a clear example of 16th-century Algarve architecture.
The Church of Our Lady of Carmo is a 16th-century building in Lagos, in the region of Algarve. It is also known as Igreja das Freiras (Nun's Church).
