Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk

The Collegiate Church of Our Lady of Aarschot, with a former cemetery and a 'traveling' organ. It is a church with a cemetery, an oasis of green at the beating heart of the city.

About this building

Until recently, the development of the former cemetery was the source of the tensions between the aesthetic and functional perfection of the neighborhood around the O.-L.-Vrouwekerk. In 1979, the landscape on the apse side was enlivened with a new bronze St. Roch statue of urban artist Roland Rens.
