Rone Church

Rone church is one of the 92 medieval churches on the island of Gotland. It is the tallest church on the entire island.

About this building

Since the Middle Ages, the church tower has served as a navigational aid. The style of the building is predominantly Gothic. 

In the chancel windows, six medieval stained-glass windows are preserved, while the remaining stained-glass windows date from 1913 to 1915. It is one of 37 churches in all of Sweden in which medieval stained-glass windows have been preserved.
