The current Dutch Reformed Church from 1783 did have an older predecessor, possibly from the 16th century. That old church was seriously damaged in 1781 during a village riot about the appointment of a new schoolmaster. It was decided to demolish it and build a new one. On 29 September 1941, the tower (from 1872) burned down after it was hit by a crashing English plane. The church was restored in phases between 1963 and 2001. On 20 May 2003, the weather vane was replaced and the restoration was completed. On that occasion, the booklet Dutch (sic) Reformed Church Blijham - Then and Now (48-02/51-04) was published.

This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

The foundation stone for the Reformed Church was laid on 30 April 1914 by Rev. JE Bos. The hall church was built to a design by architect Geert Stapenséa . The built-in unarticulated church tower has a tent roof . The glazed ceramic square clock faces and some facade stones were made by Willem Coenraad Brouwer . On a facade stone is the text: That your eyes are open night and day over this house, o Lord . (1 Kings 8:29a). The organ from 1918 was made by Van Dam .

At the end of August 2008, a start was made with the restoration of the 19th century reformed church. The church and tower were given a new roof, walls were repointed, etc. And especially the Roelf Meijer organ from 1874 was restored. This church is listed as a Municipal Monument of the Netherlands.

In 1686 probably built on older foundations five-sided closed church building. In the church pulpit with twisted columns along the tub; coat rack board, stairs and sounding board, all from 1666. A covered and a non-canopied lord's pew with carved friezes and attachments, both around 1666. All pews with knobs, on the pulpit side remains of baptismal fence with spindle frieze. Many gravestones 17th-19th century. Freestanding 13th century tower with brick spire rising above gables with climbing arch friezes. Mechanical tower clock, "Concordia", WJ Koek, Midwolda. Mechanical wrought iron tower clock 1598, in 1702 by R. Symons provided with a pendulum mechanism. Restored in 1908. Decommissioned. Organ made in 1868 by R. Meijer.

Reformed Church. Romano-Gothic brick church with fairly intact details on windows and a closed entrance on the north side; west facade from 1843 with wooden bell dome as in Aalsum to replace a tower. In the church pulpit XVII, two benches with carved coats of arms in the backs. Marble epitaph for Sc. van Scheltema and two large tombstones, one by Mr. BG Eneen from 1747, three crowns and two light arms. Single manual organ, made in 1740 by J.M. Schwartsburg. In 1827 the wind chest was replaced and the lower case widened by LJ and J. van Dam. Bell tower with bell by J. Balthasar, 1659, diam. 85.5 cm. This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

In 1408 a chapel dedicated to St. Sebastian was already mentioned. In 1449 the church was enlarged. In 1544 Ilpendam had a parish church. As a result of the Eighty Years' War the church was largely destroyed. Remains from the old church are the roguish statues in the choir closure. During the Reformation the church was transferred to the Dutch Reformed Church. A definitive reconstruction took place in 1656. The church then got its current form. In the years 1723, 1850, 1922, 1946 and 1984 the church was restored. The last major maintenance took place in 2004/2005.

The church was founded in 1828 by AM Baroness Mackay. Hall church with roof turret. This church falls under the Protestant Community of Venray and surroundings, and is currently only in use in the summer.
