In the 19th and early 20th century there were a few families in Bodegraven who read a sermon at home on Sundays. After a while they started doing this together. Before the institution in 1925, religious services were held in a building on Kerkstraat , later on Oud Bodegraafseweg [the so-called Rooiekoolkerk] and later still on Willemstraat [behind the Reformed Church]. In the summer of 1925 Mr. P. Zaal reported that he was having two houses built in the new Koningsstraat with a “room” in between to hold church services. This “little church” had 100 seats. Spaciously built for the 31 members and 59 baptized members in 1926.

On 8 January 2007, the first pile was driven for a church of its own at the FM Boogaardweg, designed by architect Van Beijnum in Amerongen. On 14 April 2007, the memorial stone was placed in the Bethel Church. The church has room for 365 churchgoers. Of course, there are the necessary side rooms. On 1 September 2007, there was an open day. On 14 September 2007, the official inauguration of the Bethel Church took place.

On September 5, 2016, construction began on the new church of the Reformed Church in Lunteren. The church was built on the corner of Westzoom and Klomperweg and has 1,300 seats.
Rotterdam, NL
The first church services under the responsibility of the Reformed Church in Rotterdam Mijnsherenplein are held on 24 February 1957. These meetings take place in the temporary building on the Larenkamp. In 1958 a committee is set up to investigate the construction of a church building of their own. On 25 March 1960 the church is instituted. From 1961 onwards the church services are held in the 'Credokerk' . In March 1962 the construction of the new church building on the Langenhorst can finally begin. Due to the extremely severe winter of 1962-1963 the construction is delayed. On 22 January 1964 the church building can be put into use. The number of seats is 690. In 1974/1975 expanded with a meeting room. The church building is also given the name 'Bethelkerk'.

The Reformed Church of Scheveningen, together with the Reformed Church, now forms the Protestant Church of Scheveningen and is part of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN). The modern Bethel Church, with tower, was built in 1970-1971 (the foundation stone was laid on 30 May 1970) and was put into use on 26 March 1971. Replaced an earlier Bethel Church in Scheveningen.

Built to replace the demolished Gereformeerde Bethelkerk on the Spoorstraat. Architecturally very interesting modern church. On the right side a freestanding small belfry, in which 1 (older) bell, originating from the Geref. Duinkerk in the southern reconstruction district Nieuw Den Helder. This Bethelkerk is now the only Protestant (PKN) church building in "Den Helder binnen de Linie", i.e. the old center and its immediate surroundings.
