The Reformed Church of Scheveningen, together with the Reformed Church, now forms the Protestant Church of Scheveningen and is part of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN). The modern Bethel Church, with tower, was built in 1970-1971 (the foundation stone was laid on 30 May 1970) and was put into use on 26 March 1971. Replaced an earlier Bethel Church in Scheveningen.

The church was put into use as a Reformed Church in 1930. In 1993, the church was taken out of use. After that, the church was converted into a printing house for the disabled. In 2004, the building was taken out of use again, after which the then newly established Reformed Church took this church building into use on January 6, 2006.

The first church services under the responsibility of the Reformed Church in Rotterdam Mijnsherenplein are held on 24 February 1957. These meetings take place in the temporary building on the Larenkamp. In 1958 a committee is set up to investigate the construction of a church building of their own. On 25 March 1960 the church is instituted. From 1961 onwards the church services are held in the 'Credokerk' . In March 1962 the construction of the new church building on the Langenhorst can finally begin. Due to the extremely severe winter of 1962-1963 the construction is delayed. On 22 January 1964 the church building can be put into use. The number of seats is 690. In 1974/1975 expanded with a meeting room. The church building is also given the name 'Bethelkerk'.

The Bethlehem Chapel was built between 1391 and 1394 and was intended for preaching in the Czech language. The Bethlehem Chapel is mainly associated with the work of Jan Hus (1370-1415), who became its administrator on 14th March 1402. After changing its use many times, it fell into ruin and was therefore largely demolished in 1786. It was rebuilt in the first half of the 1950s as a memorial to the Hussite movement.

Modest hall church without tower, in the northwestern district of Overschie. Out of use as a Reformed Church in 1964. Now Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The church was built in 1862. The building was then called Bethlehem and fell under the Reformed Church of Beekbergen. In 1934, a catechism room was added to the rear. In the same year, a community building was built next to the church. In 1949, a minister's residence was built so that the indoor residence could be incorporated into the church. The entrance was moved to the front facade. The plasterwork of the front facade was replaced by brickwork and a roof turret was placed with a turret with a copper spire on top.

In the Tarwewijk in Rotterdam-Zuid. Nice modern church with tower. Built as Dutch Reformed Bethlehem Church. Replaced an earlier Bethlehem Chapel built as an emergency church. Out of use as Dutch Reformed Church in 2000. Now (2018) it houses the Pentecostal Church "De Banier".

The name Bethlehem Church commemorates the old 'Bethlehem Monastery', which was founded in the Middle Ages as part of the former parish of Elkerzee. The old monastery bell, which now hangs in the tower of Bethlehem Church, is still rung daily at several prayer times (8:00, 12:00 and 18:00).
