The church building was officially opened in a special church service on October 24, 1964. Rev. CM Boerma from Rotterdam, former pastor of the congregation, led this service. The building replaced the church building on Noordstraat, which had become too small, especially for the many guests in the summer.

Modern church without tower in the southern district of IJsselmonde Built as the Dutch Reformed Church. On 21 September 1964, the Board of Churchwardens of the Reformed Church of IJsselmonde commissioned the architectural firm Groosman to build this church. The sculpted stone under the pulpit and the sculpture on the baptismal font were made by the sculptor Groenhuis. The bell was made by the Eijsbouts bell foundry from Asten. The inscription on the bell reads: "I call ten leven". The church was put into use on 2 April 1966. The church hall has 267 seats.

Reformed church. Late Gothic cruciform church with front facade (1761), crowned by a wooden bell tower. The inventory includes: a pulpit from the second quarter of the 18th century, with baptismal fence, two copper baptismal arches and lectern; a text board with a confession of faith in a carved frame Louis XV-XVI, restored 1866 and 1893; two boards with lists of ministers: 1782 and 19th century. Two draught portals 18th century. Furthermore, a number of tombstones, 17th and 18th century.

At the end of the 1920s, the construction of the western suburbs created the need for a fourth REFORMED CHURCH. In 1930, the church board invited several architects to make a design. The plan by Egbert Reitsma from Groningen appeared to come closest to the available construction sum. The foundation stone was laid on 1 October 1931, the building was put into use on 19 July 1932. As a result of the global economic crisis, cutbacks were implemented, including roof tiles instead of slates. The style is Reitsma's personal variant of the Amsterdam School. Externally, the building underwent no changes, internally only changes to the liturgical centre and, in addition, the pews were replaced by chairs. Reitsma adopted many of the recommendations that Abraham Kuyper made in his collection 'Onze Eeredienst' (Kampen, 1911) with regard to the design and use of art in the church.

The small towerless one-nave hall church in Pelişor was built in the 15th century and has remained almost unchanged until today. Only the nave was provided with a new stuccoed flat ceiling in the 19th century. In 1500 a polygonal curtain wall was built and endowed with four defensive towers, of which only the impressive gate tower with battlement walk survived the centuries. The assembly was strengthened on its western hillside with another wall with outer bailey built in 1600. The construction is still more than 10m high and preserves several defensive systems such as loopholes and embrasures. The neoclassical white-golden altar consecrated in 1832 dominates the interior. The late Baroque organ however was moved to the evangelical church in Bucharest after restoration.

Pelplin Cathedral is a Gothic building, originally the church of a 13th-century Cistercian monastery. The cathedral is one of the largest brick Gothic churches in Poland (the second in Poland after the Basilica of St. Mary at Gdańsk). Its interior is rich in altars dating from the 17th to the 20th century.

Penne Cathedral was preceded by several churches before the year 1000, whose origins can be traced to an ancient pagan temple from Roman times. The cathedral is first mentioned in 868. The cathedral was then rebuilt in Romanesque style in the 12th century, in Gothic style in the 13th century, and restored in Baroque style in the 17th century. Damaged during the Second World War by a bombing in 1944, the façade (rebuilt in 1955), the transept and the apses underwent extensive restoration, during which almost all traces of the medieval plan were lost, except for the crypt.

The church of Agios Nikolaos was built in 1953. The bell tower is not directly attached to the church and the church was made of brick. The church was converted into a mosque in 1977 and was named “Yeşilyurt Fatih Camii”. It is located north of the old village centre. During the visit, the building was closed.

The mosque is located in the middle of the old village centre and is a simple small one-room building without a minaret. According to Bagiskan, the mosque dates back to 1876. There is no record of major renovations in the sources. But the condition of the mosque suggests that work to preserve the building has taken place repeatedly in recent years.
