Petruskerk

The wooden Moluccan church from 1963 was replaced in 1994-1995 at the same location Roerdompstraat 30 by the very beautiful Petruskerk, which was festively opened on 10 September 1995. The bell from the old church was moved to the new church. At the time, that bell was taken from the mother country to the Netherlands by the first generation of Moluccans who came to the Netherlands. The bell was stolen from the tower in early March 2007. Nothing is known about the motive and/or perpetrators. (58-07)

Herv. Church and tower on churchyard. Village church on a cross-shaped plan, the tuff stone nave of which may date from around 1100; transept and choir of tuff and brick, a century younger. The tower from 1863 contains remains of the 13th century tower. Vaulted nave. In the church mid-17th century pulpit with stairs, rear bulkhead and sounding board. Candle holder. Choir partition with copper crowning and flame pots. Communion table with bench. Two canopied benches, copper crown. Large organ in carved case from 1733, made by AA Hinsz. Richly carved balustrade with attachments and back positive. Choir organ with one manual and attached pedal by Mense Ruiter Orgelbouw from 1982. A number of tombstones including large ones from 1618 and 1608. Bell frame with two bells, one by N. Sickmans, 1632, diam. 134 cm. and one by AH van Bergen, 1863, diam. 54 cm. Mechanical tower clock.

Dutch Reformed Church. Single-nave building (the choir was demolished in the 19th century) dating from around 1450 and completely covered with natural stone. The wall posts of the barrel vault rest on partly old corbels.

Reformed Church. Simple church with three-sided closure and roof tower, all from 1838. Pulpit tub with rear bulkhead and sounding board carved in the church, two gentlemen's pews, one from 1672, large copper crown, 18th century. Single-manual organ, made in 1886 by Bakker and Timmenga. Priest's gravestone of red sandstone and gravestone for general Mart. Arcronius. At three gravestones in the churchyard fence with representation of crosses and hearts, dated 1702, 1704 and 1705. The church of Inzersdorf is a Roman Catholic church in one of the oldest parishes in Vienna (1217). The current classical building was built from 1818 to 1820.

1703 - Abbot Bonifaz Tschupp I commissions the baroque construction. The builder came from Sargans. 1704 - On the 19. October, the church is consecrated by Bishop Federspiel from Chur. 1749 - The ceiling paintings are painted by Martin Leonz Zeuger. The carvings of the altar leaves, pulpit and choir chairs come from local woodcarvers.

The Cathedral of Piana degli Albanesi is an Italian-Albanian Catholic church of Byzantine rite. Originally built from the 15th century according to Byzantine canons, it was rebuilt in the 16th century following the style in vogue in the West. In the first half of the 17th century, from 1641 to 1644, the church underwent various modifications and the extraordinary painting work of Pietro Novelli, who painted the monumental frescoes of the three apses. Since 1784, the church has been the seat of the bishop ordaining the Greek rite for the Albanians of Sicily.

The Piarist Church, also known as the Frauenbergkirche, is the oldest church in the city. Founded in the 13th century, the church owes most of its late Gothic appearance to reconstruction in the 15th century. In 1616, the church was ceded to the Jesuits and in 1776, to the Piarist order.
