The Ørje church is a church from 1931, enlarged in 1980-81. The parish hall was also renovated in 1996. There are folding doors between the parish hall and the neighbouring hall, so that it is possible to increase the capacity if needed.

Ørland Church is a long medieval stone church, built before 1342, and rebuilt twice after lightning strikes in 1766 and 1884. The church has a relatively short and wide nave with a lower and narrower choir, a small porch to the west, an extension of the staircase on the long side of the nave to the north and a sacristy on the north side of the choir. The stained glass window in the choir's round east window was also designed by Gabriel Kielland, who is known for his work with the stained glass windows in Nidaros Cathedral.

The Ørsta church was built in 1864 and designed by the architects Schirmer and von Hanno. The church is recognisable by its bell tower with a curved baroque roof. The interior has a characteristic roof construction and ornaments inspired by the Urnes stave church.

The Østerlars church, built around 1160, is the largest of Bornholm's round defensive churches. The Romanesque church is characteristic of the genre, with its three floors (church floor, shelter floor, defence floor), conical roof, separate bell tower and interior frescoes. In 1955, the building was restored.

The Østre Aker church is a neo-gothic building from 1860. The interior of the church is also characterized by neo-gothic elements with cross-vaulted ceilings and eight monolithic columns, carved from whole pieces of granite. The rose window above the altar was donated to the church during the restoration in 1927-35.

Østre Fredrikstad Church is a cruciform stone church with a tower to the west. Several churches have been burnt down on the site. The present church is a reconstruction from 1779 after a town fire. The interior is characterised by the restoration in 1874 and contains classicist elements.
