Sint Laurentiuskerk / Alkmaarse Cuyperskerk is a Roman Catholic Church built in 1861. The architect of the Laurentius Church is the famous architect Pierre Cuypers (1827 - 1921) who built many churches and other buildings in our country, such as the Central Station and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. It is listed a Municipal Monument of the Netherlands.

Large Gothic village church on a churchyard surrounded by a ring road, consisting of a six-bay nave with a five-sided choir closure, renewed in 1877, extensions to the fourth bay on the north and south sides, of which those on the south side are covered by a saddleback roof against a gable, those on the north side by an independent roof crowned by a pointed tower.

Originally a late Romanesque church, the eastern side is the oldest part of the building. The interior is beautifully decorated with a pulpit, staircase and font from 1743, and four sacrament sets with carved attachments.

On top of the mound is the Sint Margarethakerk in Boksum. The church, dating from the twelfth century, has a beautiful Protestant design, with men's benches. A sandstone sarcophagus is built into the floor.

Simple neo-Gothic village church with tower. Characteristic work in the extensive oeuvre of Alfred Tepe (1840-1920). The Sint Martinuskerk was built in 1892. The church has 12 pillars, which symbolize the 12 apostles, 'the pillars of the church'. The 14 painted Stations of the Cross are from 1852 (O. de Boer). The stained glass windows show images of Christ's Birth, The Last Supper and the Eight Beatitudes.

The Romanesque Saint Nicholas Church, dating from the 12th century, stands on a mound that has been almost completely excavated. The church is largely made of tuff stone. At this moment the church is not used much, but the building can be visited.

The St. Nicholas Church in Oostrum is on a partially excavated mound. The tower is considerably older than the church building. The tower with gable roof was built in the 13th century. The church itself was probably built in the 16th century. The church has striking murals.

St. Peter's Church (Sint Pieterskerk) in Leerbeek is an 18th-century parish church in the Flemish Brabant. It was designed by architect Jan Bernard Thibaut. The church preserves a pipe organ from 1648 built by Nicolaas II Le Royer, organ builder at the Court in Brussels. The church is surrounded by a cemetery enclosed by a brick wall.

Herv. Church with tower on enclosed churchyard accessible through 19th century wooden gate-shaped fence. The church consists of a 13th century brick nave with an early 12th century choir built of tuff stone. Choir and nave are both decorated with blind fields and arched friezes. 15th century heavy tower. On the south side of the church wall sundial, 1642.
