St Audoen's Church, founded in 1190, is located in Dublin's Old Town. It is the oldest parish church in use in Dublin, a rare example of medieval architecture in Dublin. In 1825 the church building was in a state of ruin, parts of the church were closed or roofless. The architect Thomas Drew was the first to draw serious attention to the architectural and historical importance of the church in 1866. In 1826, the seventeenth-century tower was remodelled by Henry Aaron Baker, but it was not until the major restoration in 1982 that the tower was secured. A Catholic church of the same name is located next door.

Construction works of the glamorous St. Augustine Church in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg began in April 1927. The church was consecrated in April 1928. It was planned by Josef Bachem together with the artist Otto Hitzberger as a combination of clear lines, intense colour contrasts, the finest materials and surfaces, as well as technically sophisticated lighting. During a renovation from 2006 to 2007, St Augustine's was given back its original colour scheme.

St. Barbara's Church is an Orthodox church built in the 19th century out of wood. It is a rectangular building with a gabled roof, which above the altar becomes a hip. A quadrangular bell tower has been erected on the triangular pediment of the façade.
