St. Elijah's Church is a wooden Orthodox church built in 1809. The two log cabins, the main body and the altar, are almost square in plan, of equal height and covered with a common gable roof, which forms a three-cornered awning at the junction of the log cabins.

In 1784, the chapel was demolished and the construction of the current building began in 1785 still as a chapel. In 1806, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese bought the building as a Catholic church, and undertook its partial reconstruction until 1903.

St. Flannan's Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral of Killaloe. When Domnall Mor O'Brien, the last King of Munster, defeated the Anglo-Normans in 1185, he built the first cathedral dedicated to St Flannan, which was completed after his death in 1225. It was destroyed and rebuilt in the 14th century; all that remains of the first building is the Romanesque arch and the baptismal font decorated with a carved arabesque.

The Collegiate Church of St. Florian is a historic religious building founded in the 12th century. The original structure burned down on several occasions. Today's building is the result of the works carried out after the Polish–Swedish wars. This church is the starting point of Krakow's Royal Road which passes through the city's main landmarks.

St. Francis Church is a Franciscan church opened and consecrated in 1953 after the old 19th-century church was considered unsafe. The new church was designed by the architects A. E. Jones in the Byzantine style. The construction of the new church was soon followed by the construction of the new convent.
