St. George's Church is a monument of wooden architecture built in the second half of the 17th century by the masters of the East Polesie School of Architecture. It was built with a three-storey octagonal bell tower (not preserved) in 1724-1726.

The Church of St. George is a wooden church of Galicia from the late fifteenth to early sixteenth century. In 2013 she was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List with other wooden churches in Poland and Ukraine. The building is now part of the Drohobych Museum.

St. George's Church is first mentioned in the second half of the 17th century when it was renovated. It was rebuilt in 1808 and in 1832 Prince Miloš donated a bell for the bell tower, which was buried opposite during the First World War so that the Austrians would not melt it down for ammunition. In the 1950s the church was demolished again due to the opening of a quarry nearby. It was last renovated in 1985 at the request of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.

St. George's Church is an Orthodox church and a monument of vernacular architecture. It consists of a rectangular log house under a hipped roof, completed in the centre by an onion-shaped head.

St. George's Church is the church of Kurbin Monastery, located above the village of Kurbinovo. The church was built in 1191, as can be seen from the inscription above the altar during the reign of Isaac II Angelos (1185-1195). The works of conservation of the architecture and frescoes were completed in 1958.

It was only between 1645 and 1680 that the old stone church was restored and could be reused. The church was again badly damaged during the Great Northern War and was transformed and restored throughout the 18th century. In 1848, the church was completely renovated again. The walls of the church were whitewashed inside and out, the pews were repainted and the pulpit was renovated. In 1876 a new stone roof was completed, the ceiling and floor were partially renovated, new and larger windows were installed. During the Second World War, the church was again badly damaged. The church tower, which was restored in the 1970s, was completely destroyed.

St. George's Church is an Orthodox church, a monument of wooden architecture with features of retrospective Russian style. The building is cross-shaped with a long rectangular porch, a transverse prayer hall, a pentagonal apse with side sacristies.

The Reformed Church of Scuol, dedicated to St. George, was first mentioned in 1178. This first Carolingian church burned down in 1258. A Romanesque church was then built on the site of the former church and was transformed into a Gothic church in the 16th century. In the same century, around the year 1530, Scuol joined the Reformation and St. George's Church became Protestant.

The presence of religious buildings on the site of St. George's Church has been attested since the 14th century. However, the present building is recent, dating from the 17th century, as a fire destroyed the old building in 1676. The stucco ornaments were made by Pietro Antonio Conti between 1705 and 1706; his furniture is mainly from the 18th century. The eclectic tower was built in 1882. The church houses the oldest organ in Hungary, the work of the Viennese master Johann Wöckherl from 1633.
