Fuglafjörður Church was consecrated in 1984 and is probably the fifth church in Fuglafjörður. The oldest church was in Kirkjurygg, its ruins, mountains and skeletons were discovered during the construction of a road north of Ennið. The second church was in Toftabønar and was called Jákups-kirkjan (around 1400). The third church stood where part of the old cemetery is today. The church was demolished in 1871, and a new church was built. The fourth church (1871) stood on the same site, part of the church stands today. When it was built.

Fulda Cathedral (St. Salvator zu Fulda) contains the tomb of St. Boniface (patron saint of Germany), making it a pilgrimage destination. The cathedral was once the abbey church of the powerful abbey of Fulda (744-1802) which made the city of Fulda the capital of a principality for five centuries. The Baroque building was built from 1704 to 1712 under the reign of Abbot Adalbert von Schleifras.

The church of Furnes is a characteristic stone church built in 1708, probably modelled on the church of Our Saviour in Christiania. It is one of the few stone churches built at that time. The church is well preserved as it was after its restoration in 1958. In 1876 the church was given a new tower, which replaced the old turret.

The Furuset church is a church completed in 1980. In the area next to the church, two keys from the Middle Ages have been found after archaeological excavations carried out by the National Heritage Council. On this basis, it is thought that a medieval church was located in the area.

The Furuset church is a brick church built in 1879, it is one of the first churches of the prolific Norwegian architect Henrik Nissen (1848-1915). The interior colours were added in 1929 by Enevold Thømmet, who also painted the altar painting, inspired by the altarpiece in Ullern church in the southern Odal.

Førde Church, built in 1938 and designed by Torgeir Alvsaker, is a long rectangular church with a single nave, with a choir lower and narrower than the nave. On the south side of the choir, there is a sacristy, and on the north side, there is a mortuary and a waiting room for baptisms. The church is built of plastered brick and has a partially constructed square tower in the west gable.
