St. Peter and Paul,1899. Three-aisled neo-Gothic hall church with slender tower. Mechanical tower clock, B. Eijsbouts, 1914, now driven by an unprotected synchronous motor. Interior of an organ built by Maarschalkerweerd in 1870, originating from the Reformed Orphanage in The Hague in an organ case from 1882 by an unknown maker, originating from the Reformed Church of Rijnsaterwoude.

The church was built in 1905-1906 to replace a smaller church building from 1838. The construction of the church cost fl. 52,100. Architect Wolter te Riele designed a three-aisled cruciform church in neo-Gothic style, with a semi-recessed tower with two sections and an octagonal spire at the western entrance.

Large, oriented neo-Gothic church with graceful high tower (76 m), the second highest church tower in Eindhoven (the highest church tower in Eindhoven is that of the St. Joriskerk, 87.5 m). Built to replace the old St. Petruskerk in Woensel, to (now in the) north of Eindhoven. Of that historical church, "De Oude Toren" still exists, to the east of this St. Petruskerk. This is one of 4 large monumental Van Tulder churches that were built in a short period of time in the Diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch, and were inspired in terms of interior by the Cathedral Basilica of St. John in 's-Hertogenbosch. The other 3 are the OL Vrouw Imbachtig Ontvangen in Oss, the St. Jozefkerk in Tilburg (Heuvel) and the Maria Geboorte in Vlijmen (the most monumental Van Tulder church is however the later built St. Joriskerk in Eindhoven-Stratum).

A single-nave cruciform church dating from around 1500, which has been extensively expanded several times, in 1880 (nave) and in 1932 under the direction of architect Wolter te Riele (1867 - 1937) the choir was rebuilt and chapels and sacristy were built for the existing church.

The Sint-Petrus' Bandenkerk is a neo-Romanesque church from 1905. It is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

Barn church, until 1801.

The Sint-Petrus'-Bandenkerk is a neo-Gothic style Roman Catholic church in the town of Macharen. The church was built between 1862 and 1867, although the tower dates from the 15th century, being the only survivor of the earlier church.

Replaced a church from the nineteenth century. Three-aisled basilica church with pseudotransept (transept) in traditionalist forms, strongly influenced by Romanesque. The originally designed front tower was not built. Instead, a small bell pylon stands on the front facade. The wide central nave is based on the concept of the people's church from the early twentieth century.

Roman Catholic church building protected exclusively BECAUSE of the 18th century PULPIT, TWO ALTARS with parts of the communion bench dating from around 1700 and an ORGAN, originating from the predecessor of the former St. Petrus Banden church, designed in 1856 by Th. Molkenboer and completely demolished in 1969 and replaced by the current church building. NB The pulpit and the communion bench have been repositioned in the new church in a modified design. The pulpit is now placed against the wall, whereby the stairs, originally led to the rear along a pillar, have been turned to the front and the guards, previously behind the left open door, are now positioned in front of the left dungeon door. After restoration, five panels of the communion bench were reused in the main altar in the original order and frame. Four angel figures, originally placed between the panels against pilasters, have been incorporated separately in a side altar.

In the 13th century, the parish of St. Peter was located in Oud-Diemen, north of the core of present-day Diemen. The church was located at the cemetery Gedenk te Sterven . After the Reformation, it was moved to Overdiemen. First in a barn, later in a clandestine church that was dedicated to St. Peter Banden (Banden=boeien).
