This three-sided closed 19th century hall church replaced its medieval predecessor. The top of the 15th century tower fell in 1815 and was replaced. Inside we see a printed wooden barrel vault and some beautiful tombstones, including one form 1498 with a copper shield.
Klein Wetsinge, NL
According to the brickwork, this beautiful church was built in 1840. The shape is neo-classical and of a sobriety that fits the landscape. The large wooden zinc roofed roof turret, which crowns the building, does not have the simplicity that characterizes the red brick base.
Krewerd, NL
A compact late-Roman hall church, in which the dome vaults with brick imitation stand out. The Gothic tower is 15th century. The church was originally dedicated to Mary. The construction of the church is connected with the Steenhuizerborg that stood at Krewerd.

The cemetery at the top of the church is the highest part of the Leegeweg (low road). The church building was restored in the late-1900s, especially the nave from the 13th century.

A thirteenth century church built on a foundation of large field boulders. The five-sided closed choir replaced a previous straight chorus closure. The interior is simple, although the beam soldering has a special blue-green colour scheme.

The small hall church probably dates from the 13th century, but was thoroughly renovated in 1775. A large memorial stone reminds us of this above the entrance of the tower. The stained glass windows were placed in 1937.
