Vendelin Vosnjak, now a servant of God and hopefully soon a candidate for beatification. In the year of the great Christian jubilee we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the existence of our province.

Presumably, the Jewish cemetery in Kuz`myno was established in the 19th century. According to epigraphic data, it already existed in 1851. The cemetery is depicted on a cadastral map of 1865. The cemetery was used presumably until WWII, although the latest preserved gravestone dates from 1935.

The church in Kvalsund was built of wood in 1892. The architect of the church is Christian Thams. The church was built on unstable ground so that in 1936 the church was demolished and rebuilt on the present site.

Kvam Church is a covered wooden church, built according to the plans of architect Magnus Poulsson in 1952. The church was built after the old Kvam church of 1776 burned down in 1940. The old church was clearly a source of inspiration for the new church.

Kvamsøy Church is a long stone church with a chancel and a nave of equal width. The church has a gable roof covered with bricks and ridge caps on the western ridge. The church is dated to the second half of the 13th century. The nave of the church has a simple pointed arch entrance portal to the west, and in the choir there is a north portal.
